bittersweet of blogging life
Don't get me wrong, but I LOVE BLOGGING. It;s been an obssesion since I was in year 7, which was lik almost 7 years ago. Yeah, I've been blogging for that long. Man, time always makes me feel old. Especially when I'm surrounded with people who are younger than me.. (school friends and even indo skool friends) And for that amount of time, I've been changing my blog address several times (3 times to be exact, and that doesn't include my other joint blogs with my friends.. I'm a blogger freak, I know).
I've tried so many blogging software. I've had 2 Livejournal accounts, 2 Diaryland's account, 2 pitas accounts, 2 Xanga account, one on friendster and right now I'm still learning to use the Greymatter blogging software. In total I have about 20 blogs! whoa. My first and my most active account is of course the Blogger one. See, I am totally addicted with this online journal thingy.
At first, I only wrote stupid entries about how bored I am, how suck the school is and some bits about my crush at that time. Sounds like a silly writing of a little girl to me! Hehehe, yes I was a silly teenie bopper too, you know. And yea, my blog grew more serious and I started to write in English all the time. I want to have people for all around the world read my blog and I want to share my thoughts with them. Most of them are nice, yea gotta love the fame. LOL!
But things always never been as good as it seem. My blog started to appear in Google! and my Dad found out about it. He gave my link to everyone.. (how sad is it?? I know) My ex started to read my entries. OMG! It was disaster man.. And like I was bitching about someone in my blog, and that someone actually read it and start bitching about me in her blog! And there was also this one time when my cousin found out about my blog, and I was actually talking like a snob about her.. (I still feel bad..SORRY!) And I think my Dad read about my personal love life from my blog, and also about how I felt about our so-called family.
Yea, I was furious. This is my blog I can do anything I want here. I can write anything I want. I don't want some stupid hacker reading my entries and start bitching about me or think of me as a weirdo. That's why I don't want this blog to be isible in public. I'll keep it as secretive as it is. No family members should know about my blog (with the exception, my cousin). Only approved friends can have this link, and they are not allowed to spread my address in their blogs without my permission.
This entry is dedicated to my friend, who is currently have some troubles with being honest in his blog. I hope you can get things straight and you can blog in free again! Even though sometimes I'm harsh at him, but he;s still a good friend. So just try to be more fast thinking and stop being so slow about everything. Hehehe!
"It's your right to have your thoughts written and be published on the internet, but it's also other people's right to comment on your thoughts. If you don't want people to know about your private life, then don't give out your address so easily. This might be a tough choice, but it's just the way it is. That's what I had about blogging, it's either to be famous or forgotten. I prefer to be forgotten and live in peace.".
